Bringing the bounty of the Hudson Valley to our community one week at a time.

Our Story

Farming is one of the most fundamental and necessary of all services,
and eating is one of the most fundamental and necessary of all human rights.

Good Food for Hudson provides 21 weeks of farm fresh vegetables to 55 families on a free and sliding scale basis. The produce is grown with love and care at Lineage Farm using sustainable and regenerative practices and is distributed weekly. Access to affordable, fresh produce is a long standing issue in Hudson and this program seeks to address the disconnect between the bounty grown in Columbia County, and the critical issue of fresh, affordable food access for low income families.

Last season, Good Food for Hudson was able to distribute over 400 dozen organic eggs, 500 loaves of organic sourdough bread, and over 6000 vegetables! 40 families regularly attended the distributions, with another 100 families passing through. We often brought extra vegetables to serve the late comers to the program, and nearly every week we went home having completely emptied the delivery van. This offering is appreciated and utilized by the families in Hudson and we're looking forward to another amazing season!
